First Post

Well, here we go.  Welcome to the first blog for Purcell's Business Products. We are excited about entering the upcoming year with this blog site and hope to bring you timely information that can help your business, school, church, or other organization.  I'll be posting articles on time managment, cost savings, notices of rebate offerings, sales discounts and many other items.  Keep coming back to see what we have to offer.

As we close this year and look ahead to 2011, we are so thankful to all of our loyal and valued customers.  Running a locally owned and managed business is exciting and trying at times.  We certainly make every attempt to meet and beat prices of the bigger box stores but our bread and butter has been, and will continue to be, the service we provide both in delivery of supplies, and the personal interaction we have with you, both in sales and in servicing and maintaining our award winning line of Sharp copiers.

Our sales staff, and really our entire staff, is very capable and willing to sit down and take the time to find out exactly what you need and what we can provide to fulfill that need and then meet and exceed your expectations.  Just this week I spent some time with a customer going over office furniture they were wanting to purchase.  The layout of the room wasn't quite working with the desks they originally looked at.  Taking that little extra time made sure they got what they needed and I hope will provide greater satisfaction once it's installed.  I also delivered some printed material to another customer and took the extra time and effort to put it right where they needed it, not just drop it at the front counter.  Just going the little extra bit is what we are all about.  We know the bottom line is important, but when you combine improvements to your bottom line AND good - hometown service, what a difference it makes.
